Overview

Rooted in the spirituality of unity of the Focolare Movement, the Centre for Inculturation coordinates and supports initiatives across Africa aiming to foster dialogue between African cultures and the Holy Scriptures. Through research, formation, capacity-building programs, publications, and community-based projects, the Centre promotes peace, reconciliation, justice and social transformation, giving African cultures a visible and valued voice in society.

Our History

Inspired by the vision of Chiara Lubich and grounded in the spirituality of unity of the Focolare Movement, the Centre for Inculturation has grown into a continental hub connecting projects, research, and training that celebrate African cultures and foster dialogue, understanding, and social transformation.
